The following is a list of known 'issues' otherwise known as 'bugs' in eFX
README (or we'll sick the fluffy bunny of chaos on you)
-------------------------------------------------
please DO NOT submit bug reports containing any of the following, known
issues, this just wastes everyones time and bandwidth, if you do find any
new or unlisted bugs/issues please edit BUGREPORT.TXT included in this
distribution, fill it out, cut&paste it into an email, and foward it to
bugs@thirty4.com
KNOWN ISSUES (to be fixed)
-------------------------------------------------
- BTN_SYSMENU not working yet
- NT users will on rare occassions, experience a 'blind drag' that is, when
they click on a window and drag it, only the cursor will move, then when
they release the mouse button, the window will suddenly jump to where the
cursor is
- windows and frames temporarily detach while resizing/max/restoring a window
- font dialog locks on users with several (ridiculously too many) fonts
installed on their systems
- font selection dialog doesnt jump to currently selected font
- zorder bugs, this is when sometimes switching to a differnet app, a window
appears to either lose its frame or overlap other clients, it doesnt
really lose it, it just hides behind other windows not on the same layer
as our client
- skins that want images to align to the right or bottom of a side with no
other images before so, align to the left and top instead
- titletext doesnt center properly, even spills over onto buttons
- inactive titletext/color not working yet
- exclude apps/windows not working yet
- LiteStep b23 (currently distro'd with b24 too) VWM can sometimes cause the
client area of a window to disappear
KNOWN ISSUES (unfixable as of now)
-------------------------------------------------
- eFX sometimes won't reload after unloading, this is caused by KERNEL32.DLL
keeping efx.dll loaded in memory, it won't free it for some reason, only
solution for this right now is to copy eFX into a new directory and run from
there or to reboot before you want to use it again
